Our girls finished 22nd out of 27 teams in Division 3 for the Lower Peninsula. Lola Bryce finished in the top 100 (and overall top half of the field) at 88th place. Overall, the team had their best team spread of the season at 1:26.

Our girls team took 3rd place, qualifying for State Finals! They also had their best team spread of the season at 1:35 and second fastest team time of the season at 1:46:47. Lola Bryce (12th) and Marnath Tuol (14th) were top 15 individual medalists. The guys finished 13th place.
Our girls team finished 2nd place, Runners-Up in the OK Silver Conference. They had their best team time by almost six minutes (!), finishing 1:42:48. Lola Bryce (4th), Marnath Tuol (5th), Faith Jenkins (14th), and Joellah Bouwman (15th) were all top 15. Eight of our girls ran varsity letter times (this also included Maria Campbell, Adele Jewett, Lynnae Meengs, and Lydia Marsman). All of the girls either had season's bests or personal records, some of them significantly so (by 1-2 minutes!). For the boys, Evan Buteyn finished 12th and Blake Jewett 14th overall. Four of them (including Silas Ensink and Andrew Newenhouse, too) ran varsity letter times. The boys either all had season's bests or personal records, too, with some significant time drops of their own. A great night for our teams.
Our girls finished 17th out of 38 teams and our boys finished 34th out of 40 teams. Among hundreds of runners competing in Division 3, Lola Bryce finished in 52nd place and Marnath Tuol in 64th place. Adele Jewett had a season's best time of 24:46 and personal records were achieved by Evan Buteyn (18:49), Melissa VanTimmeren (26:32), and Kayley VanTimmeren (26:42).
Our girls finished in 1st place in the "Jays" division out of 14 teams. Our boys finished 8th out of 20. Nearly all of our runners had season's best times or personal records (Faith Jenkins, Maria Campbell, Lynnae Meengs, and Melissa VanTimmeren, Evan Buteyn, Blake Jewett, and Nick Huizinga). All of our top 5 runners for the boys and the girls ran varsity letter times (sub 19:30 for the boys and sub 23:30 for the girls).
Our girls finished 1st place and our boys finished 4th place at our second OK Silver Jamboree. Lola (2nd), Marnath (4th), and Faith (13) were top 15. Our boys team had their best team spread of the season for the second meet in a row (0:26). Andrew Newenhouse had a season's best time (20:20).
Our boys had their best team spread (0:41) and team time (1:40:36) for the second consecutive week! Team spread, especially, was the best of all the boys’ teams at this meet. Andrew had a season’s best time and Nick had a personal record (20:29). Our girls got 2nd place in the “Sunrise” division and had their best team time of the season so far (1:50:00)! Lola, Marnath, and Joellah all finished in the top 40 individuals. Lola, Marnath, Faith, and Kayley all had season’s bests and Joellah had a personal record (22:03). Blake, Maria, and Melissa all were within a few seconds of either season’s bests or PRs.
Our girls finished 4th out of 11 teams at the Sparta Invitational at Fruit Ridge Hayrides. Lola Bryce (9), Marnath Tuo18), Faith Jenkins (28), and Joellah Bouwman (37) all finished in the top 40 individuals. Faith had a season's best time (22:41) and Melissa VanTimmeren a personal record time (27:25). The boys had their best team spread (1:27) and team time (1:40:48) so far this season. Silas Ensink finished in the top 40 and had a season's best time (19:25).
Our boys team improved their overall team time this season by 3:00. Alex Lampson had a huge PR, with a third mile pace over a minute faster than the second. Silas Ensink finished with a varsity letter time. Girls improved their team split by almost a minute and overall team time by almost 5:00 (1:50:55)! Lola Bryce medaled at 13th place. Marnath Tuol had a solidly consistent race with only five seconds’ difference between each of her mile paces. Joellah Bouwman, Lynnae Meengs, and Melissa VanTimmeren had personal records and Joellah finished with a varsity letter time. Nearly all of our runners had season’s best times.
Our girls team got 2nd place out of 5 teams at OK Silver Jamboree #1, our first conference meet of the season. Lola Bryce took 1st place individually! Marnath Tuol (6th) and Faith Jenkins (15th) also finished in the top 15 overall. For our boys team: Blake Jewett had a personal record time of 19:45 and Silas Ensink, Andrew Newenhouse, and Alex Lampson all had season's bests times so far.
Our girls’ team finished 3rd overall and took home a big trophy. Lola Bryce, Marnath Tuol, Faith Jenkins, and Joellah Bouwman also individually medaled (top 30). Our boys' team had the best team split of all seven teams in the Div. 3 & 4 race at 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Both of our teams finished in 2nd place. Our girls had Lola Bryce and Marnath Tuol make the “All-Baker Woods” top 7 and win a free shirt. Faith Jenkins, Joellah Bouwman, and Lynnae Meengs also rounded out the top 10.
