Winter Sports are right around the corner! Squire Athletes, be sure you have your sports physical on file in the Athletic Office before the first day of tryouts/practice - You may not participate without one! The Pay to Participate fee is $100. This may be paid in the Business Office or online at gosquires.org. If you are a freshman playing your first sport this year or a new athlete at Calvin Christian, you must also turn in your Consent to Treat Form, Concession Awareness Form, and the Transportation Permission Form to the Athletic Office. Free Lifting Schedule - Fall 2025

Monday 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Wednesday 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. Thursday 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Friday 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. These are the opportunities available for free lifting in our Strength & Conditioning Facility. MHSAA Scholar Athlete Application

Seniors, the online MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award program is open for applications. The deadline is December 5, 2025, at 4:00. See the information below to submit your application. If you have any questions about this scholarship ask Mr. Bouma. TO START AN APPLICATION:Go to mhsaa.com/scholarship to start the application process.Once there you can create an account.Finally, you will need to enter an Access Code. Get this from the Athletic Director. NFHS Subscription Network

The Athletic Boosters bought Calvin Christian a Pixelot camera system that allows us to be a part of the National Federation of High Schools network. The NFHS network streams live athletics on demand. All of our home basketball and volleyball games will be available along with any special events that happen in our gym. The NFHS is a subscription network and Calvin will receive a portion of the monies paid when you subscribe with our school.
The subscription gives you access to any live event on their site, as well as thousands of past events from around the United States. This may be a perfect fit for grandparents or others that cannot get to the gym to see Calvin teams play. Other local schools who have cameras and are on the network include Grand Rapids Christian, Kalamazoo Christian and NorthPointe Christian. A yearly pass is $69.99 and a monthly pass is $10.99. Spring Tournament Information

Calvin Christian had a lot to celebrate last week! Our Soccer team won a District Championship, our Softball team won a District Championship, our Golf team won a Regional Championship and six of our Track & Field athletes competed at the State Finals with five athletes achieving All State Honors! The baseball team is finishing up their District Final game today at Covenant at 4 p.m. Here is what you need to know to keep cheering on your Squires!
Baseball
June 3: Baseball District Finals at Covenant @ 4 p.m. - There will be no charge for this game. The game will begin in the top of the 2nd Inning with a score of 1-1.
June 5: Baseball Regionals at Saranac @ 4:30 p.m. Tickets on gofan.co Regional Finals will be held on Saturday, June 8 at Rockford High School @ 12:30. The winner will then play in the State Quarter Final that same day at 3 p.m.

June 4: Soccer Regionals at Portage Northern
