The Calvin Christian Boys Varsity Bowling team lost a close match against Comstock Park Wednesday Afternoon. The Squires took the first Baker 174-139 but the Panthers pulled out a victory in game two 182-130.
In match play, the squires came out strong in match one but struggled with consistency while Comstock Park finished strong and took 4 out 5 points. The Squires lost 589-665 in total pin count for match one.
The squires were resilient and showed determination in match two. The boys took 3 out of the 5 point but lost by 12 pins: 693-705. The main reason for the loss was due to Ryan Jenkins on Comstock Park throwing a massive 240 game.
The Squires will be looking for a Victory next week when they travel to Spectrum lanes and battle verse the Kelloggsville Rockets on Monday December 18th at 3pm.
