The Grandville Calvin Christian Squires traveled on the road to open the season against the Potter House Christian Pumas at Park Center Lanes in Wyoming MI. The Calvin Christian Boys Varsity came out strong in the first of two baker games against the Pumas. Calvin had to hang on to a late lead and pulled it out with a narrow victory of a score 100-97 for game one against the Pumas. After a couple adjustments, the Varsity ran away with the second Baker game with a victory of 169-103 for a total of 10 total points on the day. Following the Baker games came the two individual matches (5 vs 5). Calvin Christian swept the first game claiming all points with Ethan Dole bowling a game high of 156. Calvin won the total pin count of game one 678-576. In Game 2, Calvin took 3 out of 5 points in the head to head match up and won the total pin count 754-598. Caleb Lockwood shot a game high of 184 in Game 2. In Summary, Calvin Christian won a total of 28 points out of 30 on the day. All in all, a very good game to start the season!
