KENT CITY HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Girl's Freshman Volleyball team fought hard for their first Victory last night! In the first set, the Squires had command all the way through the game, never falling behind and making the steady march to end the set 25-18. In the second set, Kent City served tough and the girls played hard, but had too many unforced errors, and ended up losing 19-25. The third set was the deciding set, first team to 15 wins. The Squires tried a new rotation and some confusion got the best of them at the beginning. Allie Vander Wal sparked a come back with tough serving and the Squires showed a lot of heart and fight and came back to win 15-12. Next up is our First Conference game against Belding!
