Homecoming was a fun night for the Calvin Christian Squires as they went out and beat Sparta 55 - 43 to go 9 - 3 on the year and 3 - 2 in conference play. Junior Karsen Balmer had a double double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Macy Verbeek returned from an absence after playing softball in Europe to contribute 10 second half points while Freshmen Addy Rhodes had 10 and Leila Nelson had 6. All 12 players saw playing time and played well. Others in the scoring column were junior sisters Grace Walcott with 5 Ella Walcott with 3.
Next up is a Varisity Game ONLY at Kelloggsville at 6 PM on Tuesday. Also, note that on Friday Jan 27 our game at NorthPointe Christian will start at 5:30 instead of 6 PM!
