Calvin Christian had a very good team win on Friday versus a tough Godwin Heights team pulling out a 53 - 48 victory to move to 7 - 3 on the year and 1 - 2 in conference. Freshman Addy Rhodes led the team with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Karsen Balmer had a very good game with 17 points, Claire Boomstra added 7 points and 10 rebounds and Senior Ashley Houtsma grabbed 8 important rebounds. Others that chipped in important points were Leila Nelson with 3, KiLee Bradfield 2, Nadia Becher 2 and Maddie Muilenburg 2.
Next up is a hot shooting Comstock Park team that took down Belding. Game time is 7 PM on Tuesday. JV starts at 5:30.
