UNITY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 47.00
Calvin Christian had a great team win tonight over Unity Christian 57 - 47 to move to 4 - 0 to start the season. Freshman Addy Rhodes came off the bench to lead the team with 18 points. Junior Karsen Balmer finished with 17 and senior Macy Verbeek had 13. Also contributing in the scoring column were Grace Walcott with 5 key points in the fourth quarter, Claire Boomstra with 2 and freshman Leila Nelson with 2. All of the team members were able to play in the game and added key elements to the win including senior Ashley Houtsma, juniors Ella Walcott, Nadia Becher, Tate Nichols and sophomore Maddie Muilenburg. Next up for the Lady Squires is a road contest at The Potter's House on Tuesday. JV play at 5:30 and Varsity play at 7. We welcome all the support we can get as we roll into week three of the regular season.
